Give a monetary donation to the Bentonville Library Foundation. Your contribution to the Library Foundation is tax-deductible!
Donations will be used to best serve the Librarys needs. Recent contributions allowed BPL to purchase a new literacy station for children, subscriptions to electronic resources such as fold 3 and BookFLIX, plus special library programs. In 2010, the Foundation contributed $27,476 to BPL.
Be a Friend!
Friends of the Bentonville Public Library welcomes new Friends. Your membership dues, monetary gifts and used book donations are tax-deductible.
Every year, our Friends sponsor the Summer Reading Club, allowing BPL to educate and enlighten thousands of young readers. Recent contributions allowed BPL to purchase new laptops, American Art books, plus storytime books, props and puppets. In 2010, the Friends donated $16,746 to BPL.
Donate Gently Used Books
Like-new materials may be used in the Librarys collection, or they will be sold in the Read It Again used bookstore where proceeds benefit the Library. Donors will receive a receipt and may place a monetary value on donated materials. In 2010, BPL added 2,803 donated items to our collection, valued at $53,385.

BPL welcomes and encourages volunteers. By sharing your time and talent with us, you can make a difference in the quality of library service in your community.
The value of volunteerism is significant. Bentonville Public Library gratefully recognizes the importance of all library supporters. In 2010, 10,277 hours from library volunteers, program volunteers, community partners and library advocacy groups supported Bentonville Library initiatives. This contribution is valued at more than $219,500.
Support Genealogy Services
In 2006, the Northwest Arkansas Genealogy Society generously donated a special collection to Bentonville Library, totaling more than 3,000 genealogy resources, local texts and family histories.
The Northwest Arkansas Genealogy Society welcomes new members, monetary gifts and book donations. Society members volunteer in the librarys William Enfield Genealogy Center, assisting patrons with research.
